Friends Forever is holding space for puppy yoga! Play with puppies during this unique experience. Feel free to flow as Registered Yoga Teacher Laura Youngblut leads a 60- minute practice or settle in and hold a puppy! This is a good opportunity to get to know the puppies available for adoption or just play with some cute puppers. Event will take place at Friends Forever in the garage. Space is limited to 18 spots. You will begin in yin yoga poses; each one being held for 1 to 10 minutes. You will slowly end in a meditative savasana and into a deeper sound bath. We listened to the participants from last year and have made improvements to the event!

The idea is simple. We combine playful baby goats and relaxing yoga practice. The baby goats are gentle but very curious. The goats will jump on your back, nibble on your clothing and cuddle up beside you.

The cost is $15 and it includes a single day pass.  There are two classes that will cap out at 20 people, so sign up today to secure your spot!  The 12pm class will follow the FFA show.

Yoga instruction will be provided by Laura Youngblut.

The goats will be cute little nubian goat kids! The event will be near the grandstands in the old dining hall.

Deep Assist Yoga is a 90-minute restorative, yin yoga with the massage assist session. Laura will cue asanas and offer massage assists; giving opportunity to create a physical awareness and connection. Please note, massage assists are to bring awareness, not to provide the outcome of bodywork.

This class is taught by certified yoga instructor, Laura Youngblut. Our farmstore will be open after class where you can purchase our seasonal cheese, raw honey, goat milk soap, and more! Shannon Homecoming Celebration is welcoming Jane Moll’s North Star Rescue and Laura Youngblut, Registered Yoga Teacher are teaming up to offering Dog Yoga! On Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 4pm, downtown Shannon. Participating dogs will be dogs within Jane Moll’s North Star Rescue. Laura has donated her time to teach a very fun, gentle yoga session. This is a great way to get to know the personalities of adoptable dogs or simply get your dog-fix. No yoga experience needed. Bring you fun-loving attitude. Sign-up is required and space is limited!

From 6-8pm, our volunteer instructors will lead the community in 108 sun salutations, or the yoga mala, in celebration of the summer solstice. 

Sunset Summer Solstice Celebration led by Kim Plumb

I love this style of yoga I created in 2020. I cue an entire full body yoga flow while keeping you connected to your mat the whole time. I usually joke, your butt shouldn’t move. Hella Lazy Yoga is mildly active yet restorative practice. You can be in partial stillness and explore the subtle movements of the body within each pose.
